NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 11/14/12 -- BlazeMeter, provider of the Apache JMeter-based load testing platform, today announced its partnership with CloudBees, the leading provider of Java Platform as a Service (PaaS), which provides a foundation for cloud development and deployment services.
BlazeMeter is now an add-on service available for use with the CloudBees Platform. CloudBees provides continuous integration (CI) development and deployment services within its platform. Now, users can implement JMeter-based cloud testing as part of their CI process. As a result of this partnership, Java developers will be able to test their websites or applications faster, more thoroughly and more simply than ever.
With BlazeMeter, CloudBees users can load test their website or applications and fine-tune them before deploying to production. They can use BlazeMeter to simulate realistic browser traffic that originates from the cloud, which enables them to rigorously test the load that their website or application can handle, locate and resolve bugs and retest as needed. Developers benefit from a simplified load testing process (Load Testing-as-a-Service), allowing the engagement of realistic cloud testing as part of the CI process.
"Partnering with CloudBees is the next logical step in BlazeMeter's expansion," said Alon Girmonsky, founder and CEO, BlazeMeter. "With our integration into the CloudBees Platform, the continuous development process can now include JMeter-based cloud testing without the user having to set up test environments. BlazeMeter provides a scalable JMeter-based testing environment out of the box, allowing for fully automated load testing that simplifies the entire testing process. Partnering with CloudBees gives BlazeMeter an important presence in the world of Java development. It increases our reach and reinforces our reputation as the default load-tester of choice for developers."
This new partnership immediately follows BlazeMeter's release of its Jenkins CI plugin for the open-source Jenkins Continuous Integration (CI) software that allows Jenkins developers the ability to launch comprehensive load tests in minutes, using next generation cloud testing tools.
"We are pleased to offer BlazeMeter load testing functionality along with the CloudBees Platform," said Andrew Lee, Vice President of business development, CloudBees. "A significant focus for CloudBees is to provide easy access to premier partner services for use with our platform. Ecosystem partners enable CloudBees customers to accelerate development of high quality Java applications, with the assurance of platform compatibility. With BlazeMeter services, customers now have access to a very robust performance testing solution for their applications running on the CloudBees Platform."
