SZCZECIN, Poland, Jan. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- January 2, 2013 marked the entrance of a new player on the market of free online software directories. A virtual robot, suggestively named SoftFinder, presents itself as a "dedicated software finder." The mascot brands SoftFinder.com, a new website that provides users with an extensive database of applications for Windows, Mac and Linux, accompanied by useful descriptions and reviews.
SoftFinder.com is a new project owned by Red Sky, known for worldwide successful search engines such as FilesTube.com, Alternative.to or Pnop.com. Currently, the website serves as a database of desktop applications, but this year the developers are planning to expand its resources with web and mobile applications, as well as implement new user features, enabling social networking interaction.
"SoftFinder.com is not just a software directory. We intend to create an integrated service for all platforms," says Lukasz Kwiatkowski, Product Manager for SoftFinder.com. "In addition, we want our website community to have exclusive access to attractive offers and contests held in cooperation with leading software vendors," adds Kwiatkowski.
Registering at the website opens up new, exciting opportunities for freelancers and bloggers interested in IT and software issues. SoftFinder.com launched a cooperation program for authors who review the software applications available in the directory, which guarantees cash payments for each text sent to the editor meeting the guidelines.
"The robot character on the website is to symbolize all the features desired by the users of a file search engine: speed, quality and security. Our team will make every effort to ensure that this image is reflected in the services offered to our users," said Kwiatkowski.
For registration and further details on cooperation possibilities, all interested parties should visit SoftFinder.com.
