The OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA) today announced it will host its annual International Developer Workshop on April 21-24 in Monterey, CA. The multi-day workshop includes sessions that will focus on the development and improvement of OpenFabrics Software (OFS) as well as keynote and panel discussions on major developments in RDMA.
The workshop is open to developers, technologists, supporters, end-users and business professionals who want to provide collaborative input into the future direction and mechanics of OFS. Non-OFA members are welcome to attend. This year’s topics include aspects of scalable architectures, storage and storage at a distance, enterprise and cloud infrastructures, and Big Data acceleration. Benefits of participating in the International Developer Workshop include:
- Attend thought-provoking, technical sessions on RDMA fabrics
- Learn about OFS successes to date and evolution for the future
- Meet and network with other industry leaders including architects, chief technologists, end-users
- Hear about new transport initiatives for RDMA
- Learn how to adopt RDMA in your environment
The workshop kicks off Sunday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. with a keynote, immediately followed by a reception at the Monterey Marriott. Workshop sessions begin Monday, April 22 at 8:00 am. The complete agenda will be posted on the OpenFabrics web site.
Registration and Lodging Information
Early bird registration is available until midnight March 15 at $495 per person (plus a $9.95 online service fee). After March 16, registration is $595 per person (plus a $9.95 online service fee).
