TAMPA, Fla., March 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- A growing number of Oracle and SQL Server database administrators want to learn about Sybase SAP Sybase ASE to be competitive in all database management areas. To meet these challenges, Dobler Consulting, a leader in SAP Sybase, SQL Server, and Oracle technology, is offering a new training curriculum starting in the spring of 2013. The curriculum is designed for seasoned Oracle and SQL Server database professionals to gain knowledge in SAP Sybase ASE Server management (www.doblerconsulting.com/what-we-do/database-training-programs/).
SAP Sybase ASE Quick Start Training for Oracle & SQL Server DBAs is the first offering in the curriculum. The course consists of three days of instructor-led training to learn the latest tools and techniques for successful SAP Sybase ASE management. It is specifically designed for experienced Oracle and SQL Server DBA's who want well-informed, experience-based training about how to manage SAP Sybase ASE. The course includes lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on lab work in a Linux learning environment, using the functionality of SAP Sybase ASE database server.
The course will be offered in a classroom setting and as an online course. Class size is limited, ensuring that each participant has the opportunity to practice the lab work, and receive personal feedback from expert instructors.
"Our training courses are designed to help companies build internal expertise in SAP Sybase ASE Server management," Dobler says. "We help organizations who transitioned or are planning to transition to SAP Sybase ASE to re-purpose their existing database administrator resources to become self-sufficient in SAP Sybase ASE database support. The curriculum is designed to jumpstart attendees' knowledge of SAP Sybase ASE database architecture, configuration, fine tuning, maintenance, and security."
By taking the course, participants will build solid SAP Sybase ASE skills, gain an in-depth understanding of SAP Sybase ASE Server architecture and administration, and enhance SAP Sybase ASE performance through advanced management and fine tuning. They will practice installing, patching, and upgrading a SAP Sybase ASE database server. Course content also includes creating and configuring SAP Sybase ASE databases.
