Vanguard Mining Corporation Engages Auditing Firm for Financial Audits

Plans to Resume Fully Reporting Status With SEC

NEW YORK, NY and JAKARTA, INDONESIA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/07/14 -- Vanguard Mining Corporation (PINKSHEETS: VNMC) announced today that the Company has engaged an independent auditing firm registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) to conduct the required financial audits of the Company in order to file a registration statement and become fully reporting with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Established in 1987 as Lewis Resources, Inc., the Company previously traded on the U.S. NASDAQ Stock Market and OTCBB until it filed a Form 15-12G to terminate its registration status with the Securities and Exchange Commission in July 2008. The Company intends to resume its fully reporting status with the SEC and upgrade its trading venue to a senior exchange in the future.

As a reminder, following the termination of the high calcium carbonate project in Northern Central Vietnam and the realignment of its portfolio holdings, potential investors should not rely on historical financial information that has been published by the Company heretofore to make any investment decisions with respect to the Company's securities. The Company will submit the quarterly report for the quarter ended June 30, 2014 with updated unaudited financial information before filing the registration statement with audited financial statements.

On another note, the Company has been investigating substantial joint venture and acquisition opportunities and expects to provide an update on these pending transactions in the coming weeks.

Jack (Hoang) Vo, a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee, said, "We look forward to completing the financial audits and resuming our fully reporting status as well as preparing to upgrade the listing of our Company's stock to a senior exchange to better enable us to access international capital markets and execute our business plan."

Jalani Haniffa, President of VNMC, stated: "We believe the upgrading of our reporting status with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and up-listing of our stock in the future will provide a strong platform for us to carry out our joint operation with the Central Java gold mining project, to advance the exploration work at our gold and calcium carbonate concessions with PT Cendrawasih International and PT Mega Kencana Persada in North Sumatra, as well as pursue other pending transactions in iron sand, sand mine, manganese, etc."
