CAPELLE A/D IJSSEL, Netherlands, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Dexton, a Dutch software company with more than 20 years of experience in complex integration processes, today announces that their Agile System Environment platform (ASE) enables CIO's and business managers to leverage BI to a strategic level by providing actionable, real-time information. A recent study shows that 90 percent of all CIO's needs real-time business information to support management decisions, but cannot provide it to other departments. Too many companies are, according to Gartner, "still in the reporting age". The ASE platform takes companies from this "reporting age" to being able to supply the business lines with information to support both strategic and day-to-day decisions within the business processes.
"In today's competitive environment both executives and managers on an operational level need real-time information in order to make the right decisions. However, until now there has not been a platform that integrates all the components to provide this strategic information and insight. We are proud to be the first to provide this insight through a user friendly platform that integrates business intelligence with business processes,"says CEO Jos Halkus
Dexton's Agile System Environment integrates BI and back office systems and enables Business Processes to become 'actionable'. Dexton's ASE incorporates the main vendors like Business Objects and Cognos and it is the perfect fit to complement for instance IBM's '4-in-a-box' to incorporate the results into the daily business processes.
Earlier this month Dexton announced that ASE platform extended to multiple platforms (Websphere, Apache and TomCat). By using Java (EE) and J2EE (JES) technology, next to the .Net Framework technology that was already being used, ASE has become a truly platform independent solution. ASE has always been cross browser compatible and separate parts of the application are available for Unix, IBM iSeries, Microsoft Server and Linux.
Dexton has ready to market integrations with Cognos 8, Business Objects XI, SAP R3, Microsoft Dynamics NAV and several (back-) office applications.
