rPath has hit the road to promote the graduated adoption of cloud computing technologies. This week, Marshall will speak at SYS-CON's Cloud Computing Conference & Expo 2008 West, which takes place November 19-21, 2008, at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA.

The session will focus on virtual appliances as a natural deployment vehicle for a cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services' Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2). Marshall will also discuss the flexibility, scalability, and financial savings that result from leveraging virtual appliances and cloud computing. Implementation of this strategy is examined in a real-life case study on KnowledgeTree, a document management provider.
